One of the first expenses you may incur when you enter into a career in real estate is your required pre-licensing coursework. The cost will vary by state as does the number of coursework hours required. For example, in New York, the state requires that you complete 75 hours of coursework with an accredited school. However, in California, the requirement is 135 hours. Quite a difference!
